Marco Carnà Archive

An Archive within the artist’s house-museum. In March 2022, at the behest of Daniela Piazza, the artist’s wife, the Marco Carnà Archive was established under the curatorship of Marina Pizziolo and Romano Ravasio, with the purpose of preserving and advancing knowledge of the artist’s production.
The Archive dedicates itself to the study of Marco Carnà’s oeuvre and to the organisation of exhibitions in public and private spaces, drawing upon works from its own collection and coordinating loans from private collections. It undertakes the systematic cataloguing of the works and the artist’s documentary heritage, granting access for research purposes at its premises in the artist’s house-museum in Carnate.

Reference publications. The Archive operates within an editorial project that examines Marco Carnà’s artistic trajectory through two volumes edited by Marina Pizziolo and Romano Ravasio:
Marco Carnà. Uova di gallo 1961–1968
Marco Carnà. Uno scomodo genius loci (currently in preparation, in view of the anthological exhibition at the Reggia di Monza).
Marco Carnà. Art Calendar 2026
