EdiXion respects the environment and publishes only digital books: made of ideas, not paper.
We believe in art as an exploration of the self, the other and the world, against those who would reduce it to a financial tool.
Our “unlimited unique editions” will introduce you to the artist behind the works.
Marco Carnà. Uova di gallo 1961-1968
Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2024, Marco Carnà. Uova di gallo 1961-1968, enhanced Focus, EdiXion, Milan.
Uova di gallo (Rooster’s Eggs), is the title of a cycle of paintings that Marco Carnà (1929-2021) created in 1964. Starting from this title, which is in itself a declaration of anomaly, the exhibition held in autumn 2024 in Vimercate at MUST – Museo del Territorio, offers the opportunity for a journey through some fifty works that develop coherently, yet in limited edition, an investigation into the rhythm of the sign, into the adventure of geometries.
Impossible eggs that will never hatch, yet precious, self-referential and charged with potential. Will the real Marco Carnà arrive later or is he already here?
Bahar Heidarzade. Le mie pietre sono aquiloni
Pizziolo, M 2024, Bahar Heidarzade. Le mie pietre sono aquiloni, enhanced Challenge, EdiXion, Milan.
The majestic setting of the Scaligero Castle in Malcesine, a medieval village overlooking the shores of Lake Garda, welcomed in 2024 the exhibition Le mie pietre sono aquiloni, a series of installations by Iranian artist Bahar Heidarzade (Tehran, 1981).
The exhibition, curated by Marina Pizziolo and Romano Ravasio, aims to stimulate reflection on the dramatically current theme of violence against women. Not to mourn yesterday’s victims, but to save tomorrow’s victims, with the extraordinary power of sharing.

Pérez, M 2021, Fotografía y Política. La lucha por la democracia en Panamá, virtual exhibition catalogue | 2021, enhanced rE-print, EdiXion, Dubai.
Photography as archaeology of the present: news images are transformed into tessellae of a historical mosaic to reconstruct Panama’s most tormented decades. The project stems from collaboration with the Fototeca de Panamá and from the curatorial strategy of combining public archives with family collections and journalistic materials. For thirty years, until 1989, Panama became the theatre of military coups, civil protests, fierce political repression, up to the American invasion. The enhanced version of the volume integrates an immersive soundscape with gunshots, voices and urban noises that restore the dramatic nature of those years. In this match, emerging democracy and major international interests for control of the Canal confronted each other.

Crespi, A 2019, Barbara Nahmad. Oltremare, Federico Rui Arte contemporanea, Milan | 2021, enhanced rE-print, EdiXion, Milan.
Barbara Nahmad (Milan, 1967) has always used painting as a language of challenge and research, traversing themes that range from the intimacy of bodies to social visions. This new series of paintings dedicated to the Baltic marks a turn towards contemplation: the sea becomes a mental space where to seek a new horizon, between desire and omen, between our finite nature and the landscape of the infinite.

Favretto, S 2022, When art meets law. Authenticity and anxieties of the market, Giappichelli, Turin | 2022, enhanced rE-print, EdiXion, Milan.
The market for fake artworks generates a turnover that thrives in the shadows, fuelled by buyers who often rely only on the seller’s guarantees. Lawyer Sergio Favretto transforms the complexity of art law into an accessible narrative, guiding non-specialist readers through the dark areas of the international market. A militant essay that starts from emblematic cases. His book is a passionate plea in defence of artistic authenticity and a legal ethics of art.

Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2026, The Risks of Art Collecting, EduXion – Enhanced educational tools, EdiXion, Dubai.
A provocative and well-documented essay that reveals the risks of art collecting, between false promises and profound contradictions of the market. The purchase of a work of art – often perceived as a safe and prestigious investment – can actually transform into a path full of pitfalls. The essay accompanies the collector on a journey through auctions, galleries and online platforms, which teaches how to defend oneself from information asymmetries, conflicts of interest, lack of transparency and incorrect practices, often capable of deceiving even the most experienced collectors.

Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2026, Free Solo. Artists without gallery, enhanced Free Solo, EdiXion, Dubai.

Not outsiders, but solitary climbers of the visible: creatives without labels, often invisible, but never irrelevant. A collection of voices, works and paths that restores dignity and space to those who create off the radar and precisely for this reason can surprise more.

Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2026, Marco Carnà: uno scomodo genius loci. Cronaca di una riscoperta, enhanced Focus, EdiXion, Milan.
Marco Carnà (1929-2021) was an Italian painter, drawer, sculptor and poet. Carnà was above all a tireless example of intellectual coherence. An artist who traversed the second half of the twentieth century and the first two decades of the new millennium as a solitary protagonist. His is a story yet to be written. His first major retrospective will soon be announced, taking place in spring 2026. The exhibition, which will be curated by Marina Pizziolo and Romano Ravasio, will allow the discovery of a great figure of the twentieth century, absurdly forgotten.

Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2026, Italy. 4,000 years of beauty, Discovery, EdiXion, Milan.
Italy is not just a country of art. It is the only place in the world where four thousand years of history have been deposited without interruption, creating a unique, continuous and still readable cultural stratification. Here every epoch has built upon the previous one without erasing it. The result is an extraordinary continuity: ancient temples that become churches, Roman roads that cross Renaissance centres, castles that house contemporary works of art. Italy is the place where the dialogue between past and present allows one to experience the emotion of eternal beauty.

Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2026, More hills to climb. Trekking with Mandela, enhanced Challenge, EdiXion, Dubai.
This book captures the spirit of a journey in which every step in the mountains echoes the moral legacy of Nelson Mandela. With each ascent we document not only our climb, but also the collective will to lift up the most vulnerable. From the Dolomites to Kilimanjaro, up to Shishapangma, in Tibet, these journeys are a tribute to courage, unity and the unshakeable dream of a better world. The peaks we conquer together become symbols of hope and change, reminding us that the path towards justice and equality is to be travelled together, hand in hand.

Pizziolo, M & Ravasio, R 2026, Sustainable Public Art for Sustainable Cities, enhanced Challenge, EdiXion, Dubai.
In a world that too often speaks of sustainability only in terms of solar panels and recycling, this book proposes a conceptual revolution. The sustainability of public art is not only a technical matter, but an ethical dimension that touches the very heart of artistic creation. Every work of public art is – even before being visible – a perceptual and ethical threshold that questions our relationship with the environment, the community, the future. From design to disposal, every choice becomes an act of responsibility towards the generations to come.

Le ragazze e i ragazzi di Facciavista 2024 To be continued, La luce è un buio chiaro?, enhanced Challenge, EdiXion, Milan.
Facciavista is a social inclusion project. La luce è un buio chiaro? (Is light a clear darkness?) is a journey through images created by girls and boys with autism spectrum disorder. A journey inspired by the stained glass windows of the Duomo in Monza, created by Marco Carnà in 2006. The book explores the challenges and hopes of these young people from a unique perspective, that of their introspective journey. A book in progress, because it is not the destination of the journey that attracts us, but the road to travel together.
